Getting back into balance
In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose touch with ourselves. We rush through our days, checking boxes and meeting deadlines, while our inner wisdom whispers for attention. As a Yin Yoga teacher and energy healer, I’ve discovered the profound power of slowing down. Through Yin Yoga, Reiki, and Sound Healing, I guide others to reconnect with their true nature, creating space for deep healing and authentic living.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice where poses are held passively for a minimum of 3 minutes using props for support, targeting deep connective tissues and joints while cultivating mindfulness and inner stillness. Yin Yoga is what you did not know you needed but what you need the most. Yin Yoga gives you an opportunity to connect with yourself, slow down, and get back into balance.
What is Yin Yoga?
Everything in life can be described in terms of yin and yang (or opposites) – happiness and sadness, day and night, sun and moon. Just as nature seeks this eternal balance, so do our bodies and minds. While yin embodies the feminine and passive qualities, yang represents the masculine and active forces. Yet in both yoga and modern life, this delicate balance often tips toward yang, creating an imbalance in our well-being.
Understanding this duality extends to exercise, where activities can be classified as either yin or yang based on the tissues they target. Yang practices, such as Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, cycling, running, and surfing, focus on engaging muscles and blood flow. In contrast, yin practices like Yin Yoga specifically target our connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, and tendons). Unlike traditional exercise, Yin Yoga embraces slow, static movements where muscles remain relaxed and postures are held for extended periods.
Beyond its physical aspects, Yin Yoga offers valuable lessons for navigating life’s challenges. It creates a sacred space for self-discovery, encouraging you to slow down, embrace self-acceptance, release blocked emotions, and cultivate mindfulness while allowing your body to heal naturally. Through this gentle practice, you’ll find not only increased joint flexibility but also mental clarity and emotional balance. This combination of physical and mental benefits brings a profound sense of ease and lightness to both body and spirit.
My journey to Yin
My path to Yin Yoga began in the lush hills of Ubud, Bali in 2016, where I first experienced its transformative power. This encounter sparked a journey that led me from the beaches of Goa to the mountains of Dharamkot, India, deepening my practice and understanding. While many see yoga as purely physical exercise, I’ve discovered it’s a gateway to something far richer – a complete union of mind, body, and spirit. This holistic approach now forms the heart of my teaching.

Sound Healing
Sound healing uses vibrational frequencies from instruments like singing bowls and gongs to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being by helping the body return to its natural state of balance and harmony.
How does Sound Healing work?
Imagine sound as a gentle wave, washing through your body and bringing harmony to every cell. Using sacred instruments like Himalayan Singing Bowls, gongs, and melodic chimes, I create a symphony of healing vibrations that speak directly to your body’s natural rhythms.
At its core, sound healing works through resonance – the body’s natural tendency to dance with sound waves. Since we’re mostly water, these healing vibrations travel efficiently through our tissues, reaching places that traditional therapies might miss. Each note and frequency acts like a key, unlocking the body’s innate healing wisdom and rebalancing our seven energy centers, or chakras.
The transformation can be profound:
- Deep relaxation and stress relief
- Enhanced sleep quality
- Emotional balance and clarity
- Strengthened immune response
- Natural pain management
- Renewed energy and vitality
- Balanced hormonal systems
- Improved mood and mental well-being
During a session, the harmonious sounds create a cocoon of tranquility, allowing your body to release tension, toxins, and emotional blockages. It’s like pressing a reset button for your entire system – physical, emotional, and energetic.
Think of it as a sonic massage that works at the cellular level, helping to restore your natural state of balance and well-being. Whether you’re seeking relief from specific concerns or simply want to experience deep relaxation, sound healing offers a gentle yet powerful path to wellness.
My journey to Sound Healing
My journey as a yoga teacher naturally led me to explore alternative healing modalities, as I continuously sought to expand my knowledge and skills. This path brought me to the transformative practice of sound healing, which I discovered during my travels through Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and India. Having been immersed in music since childhood – beginning my journey with instruments at just four years old – my deep connection to sound healing felt like a natural progression.
My dedication to this ancient practice deepened in India, where I completed my first sound healing course in 2019. Four years later, I returned to further my expertise under the guidance of a different teacher, bringing new perspectives and techniques to my practice. Sound healing has proven to be an incredible tool in my mission to restore balance in people’s lives, working at a cellular level to harmonize the chakras while promoting deep relaxation and rest. This powerful modality has become an essential element in my approach to supporting others on their self-healing journey.

Reiki Energy Healing:
As part of my journey of learning about healing modalities, I completing my Reiki training in India in 2019 and discovered something truly remarkable – a healing practice that transcends words and must be experienced to be understood.
What is Reiki and how does it work?
Think of Reiki as tapping into the body’s own life force – what the Japanese call “Universal Life Energy.” Like a river flowing through countless channels, this vital energy moves through our body’s pathways (chakras, meridians, and nadis), nourishing every cell. But sometimes, life’s physical and emotional challenges can create dams in this flow, potentially leading to discomfort or illness.
This is where Reiki’s gentle magic works. As a practitioner, I help clear these energetic blockages, allowing your body’s natural healing wisdom to flow freely again. It’s beautiful in its simplicity – no complex belief systems, no religious requirements, just pure healing energy working its way through body and spirit.
A single session can rebalance your energy and trigger profound changes that unfold over several weeks. While one session offers immediate benefits – deep relaxation and stress relief – chronic conditions often benefit from a series of treatments, allowing the healing to work at deeper levels.
Reiki offers:
- Support for your body’s natural healing abilities
- Deep relaxation and stress reduction
- Emotional and spiritual clarity
- Overall wellness enhancement
What makes Reiki special is its gentle yet powerful nature – it’s completely safe and works in harmony with all other healing practices, both traditional and alternative.
